Making it a Priority to Stay Positive

 
 
 

COVID-19 has taken a toll on everyone’s mental health. Some of the most important pieces of advice psychologists and mental health professionals are offering are to stay positive and to be intentional in counteracting all the fear and anxiety around us. As the saying goes: when the going gets tough, the tough get going.
 
Seeking out positive news and events is a great component to add to your daily routine. There are so many great stories of people uniting and rising up to help each other and stay connected and healthy. We are resilient and the more positive stories and uplifting moments we find (and share with others), the easier it will be to rise above the fear and anxiety and elevate our mental health.
