202: Life Underwriting

Target Audience:
Firm associates whose primary responsibility is the life insurance underwriting process. Or, associates with one year of experience within their firms or one year of experience within the industry.

Event Description:
A mid-level course in medical and non-medical underwriting that is designed to promote growth in field underwriting within NFP firms. This event will include medical record review, cover letter writing, field underwriting, carrier negotiation, non-medical underwriting and large case management. This event is not designed for entry-level associates. A base level of knowledge of the underwriting process is recommended.

101: Introduction to NFP

203: Online Securities & Advisory Investment Services - Intermediary

Target Audience:
Associates with an NFP Securities firm who have completed level 100 training (course 101 or 103).

Event Description:
This course builds on the material covered in courses 101 and 103. Completion of this course brings the staff member to the intermediate level with NFP Securities and Advisory Investment Services departments, online tools, and resources.

It includes various videos that cover:

• Business Technology solutions - introduction to NFP offerings and preferred partners
• Operations (Direct & Brokerage) procedures, including trading procedures and online cashiering
• Compliance issues such as anti-money laundering and outside business activities
• Advisory Services operations and tools including planners and calculators
• Advisor Enterprise manager changes

This course is offered online and has an estimated time of 3 ½ hours. You can watch all videos at one time, or individually as your time permits, from the convenience of your desk!
